Biography

Alexandre Bellenger was born in Paris, France, in July 1975.

He has been present and active in the field of music since 2000. His activities range from live performance of improvised and noise music to composition of “musique concrète” pieces. He plays in turn, analog modular synthesizer, turntables or electric guitar.

Since 2000 he has performed (mostly throughout Europe) or recorded with musicians such as Noël Akchoté, Thomas Ankersmit, Oliver Augst, Jac Berrocal, Rüdiger Carl, Chris Corsano, Will Guthrie, Sven-Åke Johansson, Sachiko M, Erik Minkkinen, Aki Onda, Yoshihide Otomo, Jean-François Pauvros, Arnaud Rivière, Ignaz Schick, Martin Tétreault or Roger Turner.

He has performed in reknown festivals and venues such as SONIC PROTEST or the GOETHE INSTITUE in Paris, MOUSONTURM in Frankfurt, CAVE 12 in Geneva, DENSITÉS in Fresnes-en-Woëvre, EN CHAIR ET EN SON in Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), FUTURA FESTIVAL in Crest (France), LE PETIT FAUCHEUX in Tours, IRTIJAL in Lebanon or INSTANTS CHAVIRÉS in Montreuil, to name just a few.

Since 2017, he is a member of Philippe Mion’s electroacoustic music class at the School of Music of Vitry-sur-Seine (France).
