Alexandre Bellenger was born in 1975 in Créteil, near Paris, France.
He started to compose music at the end of the 90s and regularly participated to the Rendez-vous de la musique concrète organized by the Centre Pierre Schaeffer at Instants Chavirés in Montreuil. Since then, he has created over 200 pieces of various lengths and styles that, to this day, remain mostly unknown.
Since 2017, Alexandre Bellenger is a member of composer Philippe Mion’s electroacoustic music class at the Écoles Municipales Artistiques of Vitry-sur-Seine.
As a musician, Bellenger has played live or recorded with musicians such as : Jean-François Pauvros, Otomo Yoshihide, Noël Akchoté, Oliver Augst, Arnaud Rivière, Rüdiger Carl, Sachiko M, Chris Corsano, Sven-Åke Johansson or Roger Turner.
